I have thousands of cards with no use for them and am looking to sell them. I tried E-bay, but haven't had much success. Is there a store or somewhere else that will buy my cards at a decent price? Thank you
Where can I sell sports trading cards besides E-bay?
If you're looking for auction-type places online, try these:
Naxcom
Yahoo Auctions
Bidville
If you're looking to sell maybe through card trading sites, there are a ton:
Sports Card Sheriff (site is down right now)
Cardtradingfools.com
Trader Retreat
Collectorplanet.com
The Bench
The Cardboard Village
and countless others
You can no longer sell as a private party on Beckett. They stopped that a while back. You can still "kind of" do it, but you have to be very careful not to get caught or you'll get banned.
It helps if you have a scanner or a digital camera to have pictures of the cards you're selling so the potential buyers can see their condition. Most won't buy without seeing the card first.
Reply:Try a Sports Trading Card Store - most Shopping Malls will have a weekend that they come in and set up. Watch the postings or your local newspaper
Reply:Hi,
Try finding trading card sales in yellow pages, and contact them and arrange to sell your cards on consignment.
You may want to contact larger stores nationwide for you selling on consignment.

Reply:you could probably go to any ordinary card store and if they are in good condition you can be makeing some money
Reply:You can take them to your local baseball card shop, sell them on Craig's List or at a garage sale, but E-bay is by far the best place to sell them. You can also sell them on Beckett.com.
The only way you are going to make any money is on eBay. That is if your cards are in mint condition. Bent corners, faded color, scratched surfaces, all bring down the prices fast.
Check what the individual cards are going for on eBay and setup an account as well as a Pay Pal account. Then look at peoples different ways of showing their cards and emulate them in your add.
